We Are Moving!

Sorry I haven't been here in a while. Life happened, people happened, and my move is happening. We are moving. We've been living here at our current apartment for over ten years and its time. Time to move on, time to take control of our lives and time for something new. It's going to be more expensive, that I have to admit. But where we live at now is entirely dangerous. It's gotten worse over the years and I tried giving this place an additional year and regretted that decision ever since. Out neighborhood is some shit.
The other day, I was in the middle of writing and I heard a lot of noise outside, mind you all the time, but this time it was loud. I peeked out the window and there was a fight breaking out. Let's just say a teenage girl pulled out a knife and no one called the cops. No one. Not even me. We did however inform the rental office that the new tenants are rowdy and making this neighborhood even worse. But it's like talking to a wall. They are condescending and never listen.

Either way, my husband and I took three years to find our new cozy apartment. It has smaller rooms, but a larger living room and we finally get to live on the bottom floor. So barbecue's all summer, yay. Besides, there's two gyms and two swimming pools. You can't beat the price. We've already decided to give it a year, if we like it we'll stay an additional year, if not--we move to a house. Anyways, we plan on moving this coming Friday, so I took off from work for two days. And will be back with updates once we get settled in.
